2Lip-bags
These bags are manufactured from crystal clear polypropylene and finished with a side seal, making the dimensions extremely accurate. The 2Lip-bag consists of two compartments. The top part is intended for the graphics card header, whilst the bottom part is for packaging the product. If required, both sides can be provided with an adhesive strip lipping, for securing the bag. 2Lip-bags are particularly suited for smaller runs, where the graphics in the header continuously changes. The printed or unprinted bags can be produced to any desired size. They are ideal for hand packaging small, flat and/or lightweight products such as greeting cards, stationery, hobby products, sticker sheets, party products, textiles, hair and skin care products, jewellery, etc.
Standard materials
- OPP (Oriented Polypropylene) for packaging small, light or flat products.
- CastPP (Cast Polypropylene) for packaging slightly heavier products which demand a stronger seal.
- laminated OPP/CastPP for printing between two layers of film and a stronger seal.
Other materials are an option. Please enquire for all the possibilities.
Standaard specifications
- film thickness OPP: 30 and 40 microns.
- film thickness CastPP: 40 and 50 microns.
- film thickness OPP / CastPP: 60, 80 and 100 microns.
- sizes: minimum width is 45 mm. and maximum length (incl. header) is 800 mm.
- adhesive strip: permanent or resealable.
- die cuts: euroloch, butterfly and circle (various sizes).
- prints: hot stamp, flexo printing or rotogravure, to a maximum of 8 colours.
